The Wedgewood Suite is a stunning space featuring four large windows that flood the space with natural light. Measuring 16 metres in length and 7 metres in width, it offers a spacious layout with a wooden floor. Its bright, airy ambiance and neutral decor make it a versatile canvas for any event style.

This space can be used as a single event space for up to 150 guests, or as an area for arrival drinks, networking area, or if holding a charity event, it could be utilised for fundraising activities.

If you are planning a wedding it’s the perfect room to have your catering options if you are not having a sit-down meal, or you could set it up with a Photo Booth, or children’s area.

This room is directly located on the main floor and also has direct access to our licensed bar.

The Assembly Rooms is an iconic grade 2 listed building built in 1766. It is renowned for its culture, elegance, historic events, and its stunning ballroom and timeless event spaces.

The versatility of the venue's spaces is unique. Each room is different and we can ensure one of our stunning rooms will accommodate whatever event you might be looking to hold.

Not only is the venue open to hire, but it also is known for holding events in-house.

If you looking for a venue that can hold a minimum of 50 up to a maximum of 1200. This is the venue for you!

The venue also has a fully licensed bar.

If you are looking for catering for your event, the venue can offer you the opportunity to utilise a variety of suppliers or allow you the option to hire out our kitchen.
