About this space

The Chandelier Room is one of the most magnificent spaces within the venue. Room space is 25.5 metres in length and 13 metres wide. The space is bright and airy and with its natural decor, any event can be styled according to your vision. The room is renowned for its exquisite 7 crystal chandeliers.

This space can be used as a single event space for up to 400. It is directly located on the main floor and has access to all our other spaces within the venue.

This room is bathed in history with famous figures such as Charles Dickens, King Edward VIi, King George V, Queen Elizabeth, and Strauss all being hosted at this amazing venue.

The Assembly Rooms is an iconic grade 2 listed building built in 1766. It is renowned for its culture, elegance, historic events, and its stunning ballroom and timeless event spaces.

The versatility of the venue's spaces is unique. Each room is different and we can ensure one of our stunning rooms will accommodate whatever event you might be looking to hold.

Not only is the venue open to hire, but it also is known for holding events in-house.

The venue also has a fully licensed bar.

If you are looking for catering for your event, the venue can offer you the opportunity to utilise a variety of suppliers or allow you the option to hire out our kitchen.
