If you’re looking for a place to host a large wedding reception, the spacious Main Hall should be the right fit! It has the capacity to accommodate up to 160 seated guests theatre style or up to 250 banquet style. Depending on your needs, you can use the banqueting chairs and tables provided by the venue or you can bring your own furniture.
When it comes to decorations, what you do with the room is also completely up to you. Should you need a list of recommended suppliers, the venue’s team will be happy to help. With beautiful landscapes stretching outside the window, this space will be a wonderful backdrop for your celebrations.

Nestled in the small village of Chipping, the Memorial Hall was opened in 1999 and since then has served the local community as a versatile venue for hosting a wide array of events. It features a large reception area and three function rooms to choose from, depending on the size of your event. The main room is a flexible space, ideal for weddings both large and small. It gives you full freedom when it comes to decorating. You can count on the support of an experienced team, who will help you design a wedding that suits your needs and budget.
The venue is located in Chipping, Lancashire, the winner of the 2009 Britain in Bloom award in the village category. Situated within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it boasts spectacular views and plenty of walking paths to explore. Chipping can be accessed from the M6 motorway. There are bus services to Blackburn, Clitheroe and Longridge. The nearest railway station is in Salwick, a 40-minute drive from the venue.
