The stylish Champagne Room has a specially commissioned, bubble-etched, glass table on a timber beam which creates a truly original dining setting for parties of 8 to 12. The room has gold decoupage effect walls complete with a fine 1940’s Venetian mirror which reflects the bubble effect from the table and the spun glass of the Swarovski crystal boogie lights.
Whilst the first-floor windows, finely draped in honey-coloured tulle, encourage a constant pouring of light to reflect the changing flow of the day’s mood. The L’Ortolan Champagne Room is ideally suited for relaxed lunches with friends or colleagues.
Please note that we do not charge room hire fees for any of our private dining rooms.

About L'Ortolan Restaurant
We are a Fine Dining French restaurant established in 1984 where you can relax in the luxurious, unique and timeless setting. In addition to private dining, we also offer biodynamic wines, corporate events and cooking experiences. The L’Ortolan occupies a beautiful, Grade II listed building in the quaint village of Shinfield, just a short drive from Junction 11 of the M4.
Our restaurant has been operated by a series of Michelin-starred chefs since opening in 1984, and James Greatorex is our current – and very talented – head chef. When you walk through our grand Gothic front doors, you’ll be greeted by warm, welcoming staff, and your taste buds will get an unforgettable treat.
