About this space

The York Suite is our largest self-contained function suite featuring its own private bar, a dedicated kitchen and a separate private entrance.

Situated on the ground floor, the York Suite is unique as it features dividers which can separate the space into smaller rooms, making it ideal for breakout rooms. The York Suite is a combination of York 1, 2 and 3 which combined can host events for up to 400 guests theatre style and dinners for 370.

Congratulations! So you’ve got the beautiful ring and now the planning begins, and we are delighted that you are considering Oatlands Park Hotel as your wedding venue.

We know how stressful planning a wedding can be, that’s why we offer one wedding package which includes everything from room hire, to tables and chairs, and food and drink. You can then choose to upgrade on any additional extras.
Wedding Package
£145 per person
We offer a basic package that can be added on to and played around with. This includes the following:

Hire of the York Suite for your Wedding Breakfast and Evening reception
A red carpet experience
A glass of Prosecco or a glass of orange juice per person for your drinks reception
Three course seated set menu
Tea, coffee and minted chocolates
Half bottle of house wine per person
A glass of Prosecco or orange juice for your toast drink
Cake stand and knife
White table linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware
Complimentary menu tasting for the engaged couple
Complimentary accommodation on the night of the wedding in a Feature room
A member of our team to assist you during the planning in the lead up to your wedding
An Operations Manager to look after you and your guests
Special accommodation rate for your guests
Complimentary car parking.

Children aged 3-12 years are charged at 50% of the adult rate and under 3’s go free.
Prices valid from 1st October 2024 onwards and prices are subject to changes.
An additional fee of £3,500 will apply for the Mulberry.

Asian Wedding Offers

Congratulations on your engagement! Now the fun really begins as you start your wedding planning journey. Our historic hotel is a breathtaking setting for your special day, which you and your guests will remember for years to come.

We offer a venue hire-only option which is perfect for those couples who want to organise their own catering and styling. It also works well for large celebrations such as Asian weddings, Jewish weddings and Afro Caribbean wedding ceremonies & receptions.

Our Dry Hire Wedding Package is available in the York Suite and includes all of the following:

Hire of the York Suite 10am – 1am ( midnight finish on a Sunday)
Private kitchen hire
Private washroom facilities and entrance
x300 banqueting chairs
x25 6ft round banqueting tables
x10 6ft trestle tables
x1 3ft round cake table
A red carpet entrance

Your food and drink will be in addition to the above, using one of our approved external caterers.

Host rules

Oatlands Park Hotel is a non-smoking hotel and all guest bedrooms are strictly non-smoking. The law states that if you are found smoking in the hotel, including bedrooms and public areas, you can be fined £75.00.
We reserve the right to charge individual guests or lead guests for the cost of rectifying damage which has been caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless acts of guests to the hotel’s property or structure.
We offer free car parking for all guests. All vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk and the hotel cannot accept any liability.
