Rooftop terrace with Moroccan themed set up (poofs, carpets, cushions...). Great for photoshoot at sundown. Moroccan lanterns available as well as "fairy" lights to create a magic atmosphere like nowhere else.

59 Joo Chiat Terrace's renovation project was completed in November 2020 and has been a labor of love that has taken almost 3 years from the date of acquisition.
The lovely shophouse is the last in a row of terraced shophouses that we believe were built in the late 1920's early 1930s. It has been lovingly conserved as well as updated to make it a modern and comfortable home that displays its Peranakan heritage proudly.
The first floor is a reception space combining a lounge, open kitchen, and dinning spaces, looking out to a walled indoor garden. The second floor consists of two large rooms at the front and back of the house (a study and a guest bedroom) as well as a large family bathroom.
A rooftop terrace was added so as to enjoy the evening breeze and the traditional air shaft has been preserved to create a delightful garden next to the dining space.
