Host rules

1. Provisional bookings must be confirmed with a secured credit card hold.
2. We reserve the right to charge 50% of the agreed minimum spend should the cancellation fall within 7 days prior to your booking. For cancellations within 48 hours prior to your booking, the full agreed minimum spend amount will be charged to the credit card on file.
For bookings on public holidays, cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance to avoid the cancellation fee, which will be the full agreed minimum spend amount.
3. All payments, including venue fees, must be settled before or on the day of the event.
4. There will be no reduction in costs or minimum spending if the actual number of guests attending is fewer than originally booked.
5. The event must conclude, and all guests must depart, no later than 30 minutes after the agreed end time unless otherwise arranged in writing with Hathaway. A late charge will apply if this is not adhered to.
No alterations may be made to the appearance of the venue, and nothing may be affixed to walls or surfaces without prior approval from Hathaway.
6. No confetti is allowed inside or outside the venue, with the exception of rose petals.
7. The client is responsible for ensuring that guests behave in a manner that is respectful to the venue, its staff, and other guests. Hathaway reserves the right to refuse service or eject guests who display inappropriate behaviour.
8. Any outside food or beverages, other than those provided by Hathaway, must be pre-approved. Corkage fees may apply for outside beverages.
9. Hathaway will not be held responsible for any failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.)
