Conveniently situated in downtown Austin at 8th and Congress Avenue, the Ashleigh Amoroso Studio is a versatile space catering to various creative needs. Comprising two studios with north and south-facing windows on both levels, the venue ensures a captivating interplay of hard and soft light throughout the day.

One studio offers a modular shoot kitchen and a prep kitchen, ideal for food photography and equipped to serve clients like Target, Magnolia Network, and Patron. The other studio grants access to a comprehensive collection of props, in-house furnishings, and essential equipment.

With a current timelapse project to customize lighting, the studio accommodates solo shoots or crews of up to 60. Positioned centrally for easy accessibility, this thoughtfully designed space is suitable for intimate sessions or significant productions, making it an ideal choice for diverse creative projects.

Host rules

Studio Guidelines:

No smoking of any kind inside or outside the studio. No illegal drugs. No alcohol without prior permission.

Music must be kept at reasonable levels and not contain vulgar or offensive lyrics.

No pets allowed.

Renters are not permitted to use items from neighboring studio without prior permission.

Security cameras and recording devices are in the space.

OVERTIME
The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate.

CLEANING / DAMAGES
Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours.

Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace.

FURNITURE
Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs.

MISCELLANEOUS
There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke without prior permission.

The downtown studio was born from the collaborative vision of Ashleigh Amoroso, a commercial photographer, and Aileen Fitz, a painter. They envisioned a studio designed for visionaries, makers, and storytellers - where energy flowed freely, leaving room for kismet connection in work and relationships.

Built in 1870, 111 West 8th is a premier creative rental space for productions, workshops, and experiences. It houses two unique studios - Aileen Fitz Studio, located downstairs, and Ashleigh Amoroso Studio, located upstairs.
