Rustic charm with indoor and outdoor space. The Carriage House has a warm and vintage atmosphere, which makes it a perfect place for a charming, intimate wedding reception or any other special event that comes to your mind.
Our Carriage House is accessible and has a wheelchair-compatible bathroom. However, the path leading to the Carriage House is gravel and requires one step to enter the building. Should you require accessible parking for an event at the Carriage House, you are welcome to park in front of the building off of Rockford Street.

No smoking in the buildings. No open flames or candles in buildings, and outdoor open flames must be approved by staff. No stiletto/spike heels or red wine allowed in the mansion to ensure preservation of the space.

About Shirley-Eustis House
The Shirley–Eustis House is an historic house located at 33 Shirley Street, Boston, Massachusetts. It is a U.S. National Historic Landmark.
The house was built between 1747 and 1751 on 33 acres in Roxbury by William Shirley, Royal Governor of the Province of Massachusetts Bay, and served as his summer home. Today, the property is available for private event rentals.
