With floral wallpaper on an entire wall, Gertie’s dining room can shift from a relaxed daytime setting to a stylish evening atmosphere, thanks to its large windows. Pastel tones and multiple types of plates, glasses, and mugs give the space a retro diner feel. As the day goes by, the energy changes from laid-back West Coast charm to an intimate New York dining experience.
The entire venue is available for booking, which includes the main dining room, back patio, and, the front patio and backyard, as long as weather allows it. Our venue is ideal for rehearsal dinners, weddings, fundraisers, and product launches.

About GERTIE
Gertie is a modern “Jew-ish” diner in Williamsburg. We are an all-day gathering place for the community. You can drop by for a quick coffee, a long brunch, or a cheerful dinner with friends! There’s always a spot for you—just like at Grandma’s.
Our venue includes a spacious main dining room, a back patio with partial covering and heating/cooling, and a front patio and backyard. The menu includes bagels, babka, riffs on classic NY deli sandwiches, big salads, matzo ball soup, and other Jew-ish comfort food favorites.
