About Alhambra Palace Chicago
The Alhambra Palace in Chicago, which opened in 2007, aims to recreate the grandeur of the Alhambra palace in Spain. The founders spent years traveling to the Middle East and North Africa, collecting artifacts and commissioning artisans from Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, and Morocco. These artisans crafted hand-carved wood furniture, sculptures, rugs, stone mosaics, and crystal chandeliers in the Moorish style.
The restaurant features intricate gilding framing doorways and windows, and hand-painted tiles paneling the walls, capturing the detailed beauty of the original Alhambra Palace.
Alhambra Palace offers a unique experience with fine Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dining, exotic drinks, and exceptional entertainment. Every Friday and Saturday night, guests can enjoy performances by the best belly dancers and Middle Eastern singers in Chicago.
