About this space
Located near major studios and in the heart of the Culver City Arts District, our space is convenient for both film and photo shoots. Our space is street-level with tall ceilings and tons of natural light, making for the ideal studio space.
Our warm & welcoming space is perfect for company offsites, special events, or pop-up shops. We offer tables & chairs, plus fast Wi-Fi and plentiful parking. Our 4 different spaces allow for easy break-off rooms or a private workspace. The kitchenette makes meal service easy.
Whether you’re celebrating a 5th birthday or 50th anniversary, party at The People Place! Our space is great for hosting events for up to 100 people. Our front room & patio allow for both indoor & outdoor festivities, plus our kitchenette makes for easy catering & food prep.

Use of space:
If you have any messy activities like art projects, please do so in the middle room or back garden. Please remove shoes when walking or sitting on the rug and please do not eat on the rug. You are welcome to roll up the rug and put it away for your party, but then make sure to put it back in the front room before you leave.
Trash:
Please take the trash and recycling out to the garbage bins in the back after your event. Be sure to prop the back door open when you go out, because it locks automatically if it closes.
Cleaning:
After the party, please take all of the party supplies and extra food with you. We ask that you clean the space and put everything back where it was, so the room is set up and as clean as when you arrived. Please vacuum the rug and sweep the floor (vacuum and broom are in the tall white cabinet next to the back door).
No smoking or pets allowed
Note that we can only accept bookings from business entities that carry their own liability insurance. They must be willing to add "The People Place" to their insurance policy for the during of their booking.

About The People Place
The People Place is a new space in the heart of Culver City Arts District that offers parenting support groups as well as classes for infants and toddlers. The co-founders have been hosting classes for over 10 years but just opened their own permanent space in September. The space was recently renovated and has amazing light, beautiful plants and wall mural, but is a very open with little permanent furniture, making it an ideal rental space.
The space is separated into 2 areas - the front which includes frosted windows and a large open area and the back which includes a prep space, kitchenette, bathroom and private office. The two areas are separated by french doors. There is also a small outdoor garden area in the back. There is readily available street parking around the space.
