About this space

Texas Historic Landmark storefront building in the center of the Downtown Historic District of Allen.

This venue is located in a 100-year-old building and has original brick walls, modern concrete flooring, and white vintage 14' high ceilings. The street is in the center of a charming historic district with a unique vintage vibe inviting robust foot traffic.

There is one main room available for use: The Main Space, which can accommodate up to 65 people depending on the layout.

Two large bay-style front windows provide ample natural light opportunities. Exposed ductwork and industrial details deliver urban energy.

There is one eclectically designed restroom; which is ADA compliant. A separate space as well which can be used as an office or coat room.

Host rules

The building is smoke-free.

Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time into your booking hours.

Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples, or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will result in an extra charge.

FURNITURE: Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs.

No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated.

All ages are allowed in the space.

Production insurance is not required.

Furniture and decorations may be moved.

This venue is meant to strip away all the fluff and put the true meaning back into weddings. Here at The Space on West Main, you have the flexibility to really customize your day. To be able to truly focus on the little things.

For instance, think about the time you will have to interact with your guests on a more intimate level, really sharing the day with them. That is what a union is all about.

The building is conveniently located near McDermott Dr and 75-North Central Expressway off Main St. It is also adjacent to a Historic train station. Free street parking and lot parking are available.
