About this space
The Natural-Light Room is a versatile studio space perfect for photography, videography, and other creative projects. With large windows on the east and south walls, the space is filled with natural light, providing an ideal setting for capturing stunning images. The room also features a 3-paper backdrop system, giving you a range of options for your shoot.
Please note that the restrooms and waiting area are shared with other studio rooms and offices at this location. We kindly ask all guests to be respectful at all times and not to enter the room without staff accompanying your group.
We do not pre-set the room before your arrival, but we do offer an assistant add-on to help with any setup during your booking. If you choose not to select this option, our staff will not assist with any setup.
Your rental rate includes (3) Neewer 40 WS LED white panel lights with barn doors, light stands, extension cords, power strips, A-clamps, sandbags, a step stool, 5-in-1 reflectors, a fan, and a folding table. These items are available upon request upon your arrival.

No animals/pets allowed without prior notice.
No smoke/glitter/dust/confetti/feathers or similar shoots without prior notice. (also be mindful of outfits with these materials.)
No open flame allowed without prior notice.
All moveable walls require staff to move them
Walking on the edge of the cyclorama is not permitted, a repair fee will be added (starting at $150) and will depend on the amount of work required.
Rental time includes set up and break downtimes. At least a $50 fee would be billed if the crew leaves later than the reserved time. The studio must be cleaned and vacated by the scheduled end time and no later, please consider this when booking your rental.
Regular studio rental rate includes no more than 8 people per booking, any number above will be billed at a higher hourly rate.
Please, leave the studio in the same condition. If the studio requires a major cleaning after your session, the cleaning fee will be added (starting from $50) and will depend on the amount of work required.
This is not a soundproof studio, you can hear noises from outside and the other rooms.
No ALCOHOLIC beverages or DRUGS allowed inside the studio. A $500 fine will be charged for each incident.
No Smoking in the studio.
No one will be admitted who is drunk or under the influence of illegal substances.
We do our best to accommodate and provide professional, friendly, and honest services to all our customers and fellow artists, for this reason, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
We reserve the right to stop any shoot at any time.
We allow the use of baby oil, oil sprays, and body paint, however, be mindful of where these will be used as they damage the paper backdrops and flat painted areas.
Children must be supervised at all times, we are not responsible for damages they may cause to the studio or themselves.

Altered Visions Studio is a rental photography studio located in north Houston. We provide 4 different studio rooms with setups and options from the naturally lit interior setting, themed room, industrial room, and commercial room featuring a corner cyclorama. We focus on providing a creative space available for photographers of any level; novice and professionals alike. The studio includes Neewer continuous LED lights with barn-doors upon request, and Paul C Buff strobes (based on availability). We want you to focus on making your vision a reality!
