Host rules

There is no smoking allowed inside the building, but we do allow smoking in the outside patio space.

Outside catering is allowed.

Guests are allowed to provide a band or a DJ for private events and our sound technician must be on site to monitor.

No open flames are allowed inside the building.

Guests are not allowed to provide their own alcohol, and we will offer bar menu development at no cost for the event.

Anyone who will be serving food or alcohol must provide a TABC and food handler's permit in advance of the event.

There is a 12AM curfew for live music, and a 2AM stop time for DJ's.

We are in a neighborhood, so we control sound levels to make sure it is friendly to the neighbors.

Dan Electro's was founded in 1988 and quickly rose to being one of the major music venues in Houston.

Known for good vibes and fun, Dan's has been through 5 owners in it's lifetime, and is presently settling in nicely to the current ownership, who are committed to making Dan Electro's a preeminent venue for live music, lounging and private and semi-private events.

We have a professional stage with a recently upgraded sound and lighting system, recently updated interiors, and an expansive and well-manicured back patio to enjoy the lovely Houston weather.

We also have a private upstairs lounge that is equipped with a PA and televisions that may be used for event space, and this space has access to our upstairs deck and a private side patio.

We are focused on creating amazing experiences for our guests, and hosting memorable parties for our clients.
