Our Sherman Oaks location is a neighborhood favorite, popular with families and regulars who have been loyal customers for over 25 years. Come in and plan your private party with us. Our restaurant can accommodate up to 125 guests seated or 145 standing.

Sherman Oaks was the third "Next Generation Mels" to open and is our original Southern California location. Originally home to Kerry's Coffee Shop, the building is a prime example of "Googie" style architecture, known for its angled roofs and space-age design elements. This location is easily accessible via the 101 and 405 freeways, close to Universal Studios, and only a half-mile away from the Sherman Oaks Galleria, the birthplace of the "Valley Girl" and the choice hangout of the kids in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Chopping Mall. Today, the Galleria is home to the Sherman Oaks Arclight Cinemas, the Valley’s premier destination for catching your favorite flick.
Sherman Oaks Mels opened in 1989, well-situated on Ventura Blvd, the main thoroughfare of the San Fernando Valley. Loaded with boutique and specialty shops, Ventura Blvd is the ideal place to explore with your family or friends and discover some new finds.
