About this space
Our studio is made up of three areas:
BACK/MAIN STUDIO (800sf)
The main photo studio, meeting/workspace, and bathroom. The studio includes all furniture, lights and equipment listed/pictured. Also included: large plain white wall, multiple 107" and 53" paper backdrops (inquire about specific colors if needed), a gritty gray textured wall, a color burst mural wall, and vanity area. This section also features a quiet split unit air conditioner with remote control access.
WORKSHOP (800sf)
Actual working woodshop (cleaned up and never in use during a rental). The tools will be partitioned off during your booking, but the open area as pictured, is available for your use. This section includes the refrigerator, water cooler, coffee station, and second sink. Ideal for crafty, video village, and equipment area.
FRONT LOUNGE / STAGING AREA (400sf)
Entryway, Loading Area. Lots of natural light for photo shoots and great for lounging, staging, or airy break area. If you opt to shoot any video in this front room during a weekday, know that you may have to contend with noise from neighboring businesses.

GENERAL:
Furniture may be moved, but please put everything you use back in (generally) the same place you found it upon arrival. Please do not break down any of our equipment that you may have used
Setup and Breakdown is part of your rental period, please do not arrive more than a few minutes early and do not wait until your rental period is over to start cleaning up. You will be charged accordingly if your rental period begins more than a few minutes earlier or ends later than you've booked.
We ask that all trash be placed in the provided trash can or removed if it exceeds the capacity of that trash can. Guests must remove any equipment or rentals brought in.
PARKING:
Please move your car from the alley after unloading so you are not in the way of neighboring businesses. Our neighbors will report to us if there are any issues.
USE OF COMMON AREAS:
You must let us know prior to booking if you plan on using the alley during your rental so we can clear it with neighboring businesses. If you fail to do so, know that the alley area is not guaranteed to be available.
SMOKING:
There is no smoking inside or outside the building. Fog machines are allowed.
FOOD:
Outside catering is allowed. We ask that you do not enter partitioned areas, but all open areas are available to you, including a small refrigerator, water cooler, coffee maker. Please use coasters under cold drinks.
OFF-LIMITS:
Tools in the shop are entirely off-limits. You are welcome to use the shop area, tables, chairs, etc, but no tools should be removed or used without express permission. We provide our phone numbers and are on-call during your rental for assistance or to answer any questions.
SECURITY CAMERAS:
Exterior security cameras are located at the outdoor entrance and on the back deck. Indoor security cameras are located in the front lounge, woodshop, and back studio. Footage is reviewed to verify out-time and if damage is found or gross misuse is suspected.

About 270 Studios
270˚ Studios is a multi-functional space located in the industrial area of Atwater Village, on the border of Glendale. We're a stone's throw from Cinelease and the Golden Road Brew Pub. This unassuming spot was once a train depot of sorts - the remaining tracks in the back prove it - and now, after a significant amount of applied elbow grease, it's been revitalized and repurposed as part production studio, part woodworking studio, all creative space.
