Founded in 1905, The Woman’s Club of Hollywood is a 501c3 non-profit philanthropic, charitable, civic, and social organization. With its roots deep in Hollywood history, the Club property is the site of the former Hollywood School for Girls - where Jean Harlow, Douglas Fairbanks Jnr., the daughters of Cecil B. DeMille, David Selznick, and many other Golden Era legends attended.
The Women's Club of Hollywood is a true Hollywood landmark gem, steeped in history and home to countless legends of the entertainment industry. Costume designer Edith Head was one of its beloved teachers, and actor Charles Laughton taught Shakespeare.
Today, the Women's Club of Hollywood continues to be a thriving hub of social and cultural activity, attracting women from all walks of life who share a passion for community, education, and the arts.
