Our beautiful outdoor plaza, featuring an elevated stage, is the perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and various events. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above, while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza, creating a charming and intimate atmosphere.
Ideal for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, wedding showers, welcome parties, farewell brunches, couples luncheons, baraats, cocktail hours, engagement parties, after-parties, elopements, and more. The space includes tables and chairs, a projector and screen, and a speaker system with a microphone for up to 50 people.

Host rules
1. Good sportsmanship is expected for all activities.
2. Please respect all staff members and volunteers.
3. Use of profanity, verbal threats, acts of violence or other inappropriate conduct or language will result in immediate removal from the Facility. Any observance of such conduct should be reported to staff immediately.
4. Proper attire is required at all times.
a. Athletic shoes required in the Gymnasium: no hard or black soles.
b. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times in all spaces.
5. Proper use of equipment is required at all times.
a. Basketballs, volleyballs and other equipment is for indoor use only.
b. Hanging on basketball rims is prohibited.
c. Skateboards / rollerblades / scooters, etc. are prohibited.
d. Do not play on the bleachers.
6. Terasaki Budokan is not responsible for personal property; please do not leave any personal items unattended.
7. No littering.
8. No loitering.
9. Regarding food and drink:
a. No food, including chewing gum, is allowed in the Gymnasium.
b. Only water is allowed in the Gymnasium; no other drinks are permitted.
10.This is a smoke-free facility. Smoking, e-cigarettes and vaping are prohibited.
11. Dogs, pets and other animals are not allowed, with exception of service dogs.
12.The removal, damage, or destruction of an amenity on or in any part of the Facility is prohibited. This includes a strict prohibition of graffiti, vandalism, marking, cutting, breaking or any contact resulting in damage, destruction or
defacing.
13.In the case of an illness or injury, please contact a staff member immediately.
14.Additional guidelines deemed necessary for the safety and comfort of the Facility’s users may be enforced at any time. Failure to adhere to the House Rules will result in immediate removal from the Facility

About Terasaki Budokan
Welcome to our nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles! Our mission is to offer a vibrant and sustainable space that connects youth, families, and seniors to Japanese American culture through sports, community activities, and engaging events in Little Tokyo.
Our facility boasts five main rental spaces along with an underground parking lot. The Plaza & Stage is ideal for weddings, concerts, and various events, beautifully adorned with bistro lighting and surrounded by lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs. The outdoor Terrace provides stunning views of Los Angeles Street and the Plaza & Stage below, featuring green spaces, a children's playground, a community garden, and a mural. The Community Room is perfect for classes, meetings, and more, including a built-in TV and floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering courtyard views. The Courtyard, with its trees and rock garden, offers an indoor-outdoor ambiance ideal for meetings, classes, ceremonies, and meditation. The Gymnasium is versatile for both sports and non-sports uses, featuring two basketball courts, four volleyball courts, and a competition space for martial arts with seating for up to 600 spectators. For non-sports events, the gym can be transformed with a floor covering system (additional fee required) and includes a sound system.
Our underground parking garage is open to the public from 7 am to 12 am daily, accommodating up to 55 cars and including three electric vehicle charging stations. We look forward to hosting your next event and helping you connect with the rich culture of Little Tokyo.
