Host rules
For 12pm events, setup can begin at 11am.
We can’t serve food per NJ law. Silly we know. Write your congress rep! You can bring it in- we just can’t help heat, serve, store, etc. If it is a question about food, the answer is we can’t help. Please don’t be upset with our staff; we’re just following the rules.
Beer consumption options:
-Pay as you go. Open a tab, total cost deducted from rental fee. If you exceed your total rental fee, you pay the difference. If you do not, you do not need to pay anything additional.
-Prepaid set amount. You tell us a maximum to allow your guests, we will cut off tab at that number.
-Tours will be ongoing throughout the evening.
Rental Payment:
-50% due to book date.
-Remaining balance paid 15 days prior to event.
Weddings:
-Full day, full facility rental (rooftop AND taproom per above) requiredm
-Rental is required for time of use. IE if you require a closure on Friday to setup for a Saturday wedding, rental rates would apply to both Friday and Saturday
-We CANNOT provide, assist with, or have anything to do with food. It’s a weird law. You would need to hire a caterer and/or someone to serve their food. The caterer needs to handle EVERYTHING food related. We don’t have anything
food related available. No plates, forks, spoons, napkins, nothing. We provide the facility, beer, and beer tenders.

About 902 Brewing Co.
Starting with a 3-gallon pot and a home brewing kit, the idea of 902 Brewing Company fermented into a business in August 2012. The name 902 pays tribute to the apartment where they took it to the next level, 902 Washington Street.
After a few years of gypsy brewing all over the state, 902 Brewing proudly opened its brick & mortar facility at 101 Pacific Avenue in Jersey City, NJ in March of 2020. Yes, March of 2020. We strive to get better every day, providing our customers with the highest quality ales and lagers.
