About this space
This brand new expansive production studio and video podcast space in the heart of NYC has a full color, RGB lighting grid with DMX control. That means tons of ways to put your mark on your own look for your scene or pod with the flick of a switch. We'll work with you to come up with a custom lighting look that we can save for each time you visit and have experienced gaffers should you want to design something really fun.
All rentals require a flat $1k G&E rental which includes the full lighting rid, DMX and the rest of our in-house grip and electric package.
When set up for podcasts we can comfortably fit four or more people. All furniture in our space is available, and if you want us to order something or to bring something in that's fine too. Custom art, builds & designs.
This Studio also has a state of the art control room available, an in room client/viewing room, a VIP greenroom with private 10th floor balcony and hair and makeup room. Ask about availability and costs.
We can handle Camera, crew, control room all available at additional cost, meaning more hours for you to film as we prep before you arrive and finish after your rental is already complete. Discounts available for multiple days or regular productions. We can also handle post production, animation & graphics as needed at an additional cost.
Ask about our smaller, less expensive video podcast room, perfect for 2-3 people, audio only or more simple looks.
All rentals in studio one have a five hour minimum. Price listed does not include all in-house lighting which starts at $1k including full DMX and RGB pre-lit cyc. Discounts available when appropriate for longer shoots, multi day shoots and 10-12 hour days.

About ASL Studios 37th & 8th
Welcome to our brand new, state of the art Video and Photography Production Space in Midtown Manhattan. Located between 8th and 9th ave on W 37th Street a few blocks from Penn Station and public transit.
The full floor 7,500 Sq Ft Production Space offers two sound stages (28Db Quiet Readings). Studio One is home to a 24'8" Wide x 18' Deep, unobstructed white/green cyc with full lighting grid, DMX boar and a private viewing room. The full production area is 24'8" Wide x 28' Deep. Each rental also comes with use of our VIP Greenroom with access to a private 10th floor balcony and vanity as well as a dedicated two seat HMU and wardrobe room.
Ask us about Studio Two with natural light and built-in seamless racks, perfect for photography or overflow/prep/catering for Studio One. We also have a video podcast room available for hourly rental and a full in house production team that can staff and produce any need you may have.
