Welcome to Ostrica - your newest neighborhood spot! Rather than calling ourselves a seafood joint, we like to think of the restaurant as a place you can experience real ocean-to-table dining. Everything is sourced locally and purchased fresh - delivered to you out of the net, off the boat, to our storefront, and onto your plate. All of our accompaniments, sauces, and broths are made from scratch in our tiniest of tiny kitchens.
With an ever-rotating list of oysters, and dishes of lobster, crab, shrimp, crudos, and ceviche, we understand why it would be easy to classify us as a seafood spot. However... we believe Ostrica has so much more to offer the neighborhood. Not into seafood? No problem - we have a full menu of sandwiches, toasts, salads, charcuterie, and local, greenmarket vegetables. Not to mention the best wine in Kips Bay.
