Sanctuary at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
About this space
Our historic Church Sanctuary features incredible acoustic, beautiful stained glass windows, a grand piano and pipe organ, sound system with microphones, flexible lighting, and a unique charm. With its signature copper spire (flèche), rose window, and red entry doors on Central Park West, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has been a very visible and prominent part of New York’s Upper West Side community for over a century.
Holy Trinity boasts ten large stained glass windows in the nave, along with 30 clerestory windows running just below the ceiling. Above and behind the organ sits an impressive, 22'-wide rose window that faces Central Park West. Inside, the central triptych above the high altar depicts Christ Jesus in the center flanked by two angels. This space is perfect for concerts, lectures, weddings, funerals, and celebrations, all just minutes from Central Park.
