About this space

For your convenience, the studio provides a variety of office supplies, including a whiteboard, projector screen, and additional equipment to support an inspiring session. All utilities, including printer supplies, are included in the booking. The space is just a 3-minute walk from the R train and only a short walk or bike ride from the F/G trains.

The 800 sq. ft. space has 14 ft. ceilings and large windows that provide excellent light throughout the day. It includes a 9 ft. seamless backdrop, an 8 ft. meeting table, and additional equipment for your needs, such as tripods, a smart projector, and a fire extinguisher. The lighting kit includes two box lights, an LED light, a ring light, and light stands to ensure you have the right lighting for any occasion.

Furniture includes a variety of seating options, from a couch and poufs to folding chairs, along with essentials like a folding card table, a fan, and a portable Bluetooth speaker. The studio also boasts a full-length mirror and a large street-facing window, creating the perfect environment for both work and creativity.

Host rules

General Rules
-All booking start and end times are inclusive of set-up and clean-up time. Please consider that when you make the booking. Your start time is when your access to the studio begins.
-Indoor shoes are required on rainy, snowy/wet days. Shoe covers provided.
-No smoking of any kind
-No fog machines
-No glitter or confetti or you will be charged a $200 fine
-No loud music: please be respectful of other tenants
-Coasters must be used for all hot and cold drinks on the communal work table
-All large equipment and large personal and production items inside the studio space. The common entryway is used for small personal items such as shoes, jackets, and purses.

*Please keep pets off furniture. A small dog bed and water bowl can be provided.

CLEANING
We do not charge a cleaning fee. You may leave trash in the trash can; otherwise, everything else must be reset to the state in which it was found. Failure to reset the room will result in a $75 resetting fee.

Be careful when eating or drinking on carpets and rugs. You are responsible

Studio Normal is an inclusive and creative space located in the peaceful neighborhood of Park Slope. Ideal for group events, focused teamwork sessions, meetings, photo shoots, and more, the studio is bathed in natural light and filled with greenery, creating a vibrant, open atmosphere. The spacious office features a large street-facing window that floods the room with sunlight, enhancing the positive energy throughout the day.

The studio is designed for comfort and productivity, with a large meeting table that accommodates 8-12 people and a cozy lounge area for relaxation. Guests also have access to a private bathroom, high-speed internet, a wireless printer, and a fully equipped kitchenette stocked with coffee, tea, and craft service essentials.
