About this space

The Lobby Bar at Hotel Chantelle is an event space on the main level of the hotel which can fit 200 people. Not only it is spacious but also it has comfortable seating, chic decor, and a gorgeous bar with premium drinks.

If you need more privacy, the Belle Room at the back can be used by 40 people, semi-privately or closed by sliding doors. You can use the Belle Room for smaller gatherings or to join the fun in the main bar, so you get the best of both.

Hotel Chantelle – Venue Rules

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for all guests, please review the following venue guidelines:
• Age Restrictions: Hotel Chantelle is a 21+ venue, except for approved private events. Any underage guests must be wristbanded and must leave promptly by 10 PM when we open to the public.
• Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted indoors, but guests may use the designated outdoor smoking deck.
• Outside Catering: Outside catering is not permitted, as we offer an in-house catering menu. Exceptions may be made for specialty items upon prior approval.
• Decor & Setup: Any decor must be pre-approved by our team. Open flames, confetti, and excessive glitter are not allowed.
• Alcohol Policy: Alcohol service must comply with NYC liquor laws. Any guest caught providing alcohol to underage attendees will be asked to leave.
• Music & Entertainment: DJs and live music are allowed in designated areas. Sound levels must be maintained within reasonable limits to comply with city regulations.
• Load-In & Load-Out: Event setup and breakdown times must be scheduled in advance to ensure a smooth transition between events.
• Damage & Liability: Clients are responsible for any damages to the venue caused by their guests or vendors. A security deposit may be required for certain events.
