Host rules

Rental Guidelines:
- Damage Deposit: A $150 deposit is required two weeks in advance. Deductions apply for damages, late end time, misuse, or theft. The balance will be returned within 7 business days unless otherwise stated.
- Payment: Full balance must be paid two weeks prior to the event, with late payments incurring a $50/week fee.
- Cancellation: All payments are non-refundable. However, a new event date can be chosen at a discounted rate within two months, at The HeART's discretion.

Hours Agreement:
- Setup and breakdown times are included in the rental hours. Any overage will result in additional fees. If guests arrive before the scheduled time, they may be asked to wait outside.

Site Agreement:
- The renter is responsible for leaving the space in a clean, orderly condition, with all trash disposed of. A walk-through will be conducted before and after the event to check for damages.

Food and Beverage:
- On-site catering is available, but outside catering is allowed with a signed waiver. For alcohol, the renter must hire security, bartenders, and potentially acquire a social affair permit for sales. Bottles are not allowed to be distributed to guests; cups only.

Conduct:
- No smoking inside the building or near the entrance. Disorderly conduct, gambling, and loud noise after midnight are prohibited. Renters are responsible for guest conduct and may be held liable for fines or damages.

Security and Staffing:
- Security is required based on the event type and size. For teenage or college events, specific staff and security requirements must be met.

You will receive a guide with all the rules before your booking. This guide will cover everything you need to know, including payment, security, setup, and cleanup.
