The Main Ballroom is the centerpiece of the 1620 Winery. With exposed brick walls, beamed ceilings, wide plank floors, and a massive fireplace, this 3,500-square-foot space provides an unforgettable setting for any event. It offers flexible setups, including classroom seating, conference tables, trade show displays, or sit-down dinners, supported by our executive chef and commercial kitchen.
Adjoining the ballroom, the bar area is perfect for socializing, breakout sessions, or cocktail hours. The space features state-of-the-art HVAC and a built-in audio system, with access to our preferred vendors for specialized AV services. The Grand Ballroom can be rented alone or with other spaces for a full venue experience.

About 1620 Winery
The 1620 Winery is a unique event venue housed in an 1800s-era converted waterfront mill building, originally part of the Cordage Rope Company. This 13,000-square-foot venue features three large open spaces, two bars, three fireplaces, and numerous seating areas, all with exposed brick walls, beamed ceilings, and wide plank flooring.
Our winery offers flexible seating and room setups, from classroom-style to intimate dining arrangements. We provide diverse food and drink options, from charcuterie stations to seven-course dinners, and our full-service bar serves award-winning 1620 Wines and outstanding cocktails.
