About this space
Bright green and crisp white paint adorn the outer walls of the traditional Irish facade. Two classic Irish symbols - a shamrock and a harp - gracefully embellish the wooden pub sign.

About Waxy O'Connors
In Ireland's County Monaghan, the Truwood Joinery Shop is where the bar was constructed. When planning and constructing the pub, Irish craftspeople paid painstaking care and attention to every small detail.
It was meticulously crafted and delivered to the port of Galveston after it was finished. We are a roomy, relaxed pub with regular live music & bar food, plus sports events on the big screen.
