The location is formerly the historic XETV 6 studios which, in 1953, was the second broadcast television station in San Diego.

The Encore group has hosted over 1,000 private events in just 4 years, ranging from weddings, birthdays, corporate meetings and seminars, holiday parties, baby showers, engagement parties, Quinceniearas, school functions, fashion shows, ceremonies, reunions and much more.
