About this space
The size is 45’ long and 20’ wide. Seats 60 people. It is decorated very elegantly with astroturf carpeting, chandeliers, and draping. It can have its own separate private entrance. We have also brought in a private portable bathroom.
Super cool area. Has a big-screen TV, a portable bar, and a portable sound system. There is the possibility to open the gates and push the hedges all the way out onto the sidewalk.

There is no room charge as long as we are already open. We are happy to set aside an exclusive area for your guests. Saturdays are available for private buyouts. 5-hour minimum, $500 per hour towards food, drink, and service charge for our great staff!

Host rules
We allow children and young adults before dark, afterwards 21 and older. We have an entertainment permit for music, but like all SF venues, we have a db meter since we have neighbors and windows. We are not a huge nightclub. We will work with each event on a case by case basis based on the type and scope of the event.

About Mars Bar Restaurant
Mars Bar Restaurant, located South of Market, In San Francisco, is a great place to host your event both large and small. Our back area can be configured in many different ways to host bands, DJs, birthday parties, celebrations of life, banquets, and more!
We have two huge outside patios. One garden patio and an even larger space under the big top tent can be designed from casual to elegant. We are very flexible and super easy to work with. Just let us know what you would like to do. Thanks!
