About this space
Built and designed with both crew and client in mind, Mama Dog Studios was created with technical performance and comfort in mind. The Mama Dog Studios Sound Stage combines high standards in production with a penchant for design.
With a 35 x 55ft Cyclorama, the soundstage is fully soundproofed. The cyc extends 14ft with a full 1.5” grid at 15.5ft. The stage comes with a dedicated 200amps of 3-phase power and distro to get it where it needs to go.

Smoking is not allowed in the space.
We ask that foot covers are worn at all times on a clean cyc.
A scissor lift is available in the space but must only be operated by trained individuals.
There is offstreet/ gated parking available. Up to 21 spots. Please let us know how many spaces you will need.
Soundstage and daylight photo studio are drive in accessible via a roll up door.
There is a posh green room/viewing room off the soundstage available for clients and stars.

With over 5,000 sq ft of production space, Mama Dog Studios has three main areas to choose from for your events, photography sessions, or video productions.
Our premier Sound Stage is one of a kind in Oakland and beyond. Providing a pristine and technical environment for big and small projects alike.
Additionally, the Daylight Photo Studio acts as a dining area for 12, with easy access to our kitchen with tableware and utensils for your use.
The separate 30x30 Blackout Studio and conference room with shared kitchen and bathroom amenities offer a smaller experience or added space for productions that need to stretch out or hold meetings and calls.
Housed in the same building as Corduroy Media, Mama Dog Studios has the added benefit of close access to creative, support, and production services provided by Corduroy Media. Inquire for any additional support from Set Design and Creative Direction to add-ons like PAs, PMs, Editing, and other support.
