Built in ~1930, the entire building was home to a giant web press that printed the cursive writing examples that ran along the top of grade school classroom walls. Then in the 60s it became home to Bindweed Press, who printed many of the iconic 60s & 70s love generation posters for Bill Graham, the Fillmore, etc., including posters for the Grateful Dead among others. One of those presses is now housed in the printing museum in San Jose.
