About this space
The bookstore space and gallery can be rented after store closing time for private events for up to 50 individuals. It is perfect for book launches, fundraising activities, small gigs, casual get-togethers, and laid-back celebrations.
Live performances and DJs are also accepted. Microphones and speakers are available to be utilized by the guests.

Host rules
• No smoking allowed in the building.
• We are a working bookstore but available for rentals after store hours, usually 8-11pm. If you'd like the space during what would normally be out business hours we are happy to work with you and close up early.
• You're welcome to bring your own alcohol - we can provide a tub with ice and a table (you bring cups, etc.). Outside food is totally fine to bring!
• No drinking or gathering on the sidewalk - this helps avoid complaints or visits from the police.
• If guests will be coming and going, it's helpful to have someone at the door to let people know it's a private event.
• One of our staff members will be present during your event.
• No shoplifting - but feel free to buy any books or art during your event.
• Your event must work around our existing event schedule - be sure to book enough time for setup.
• Please handle all your own cleanup after the event.
• Damage done to the space will result in extra charge.
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
Adobe Books & Arts Cooperative is a bookstore and gallery space with around 2,000 ft² available for private hire. The venue can be transformed to host charity events, workshops, holiday parties, intimate concerts, and more.
Street parking is available nearby, and there’s a bus stop just a few steps from the entrance.
