Parking:Guests may park on-site or be shuttled from an off-site location at the owner’s discretion. Valet arrangements will be made by the location. No street parking is allowed.

Event Planning: The Mountain Mermaid provides the location but does not act as a full-service event planner or coordinator.

Security Deposit/Repairs: Clients must leave the property in the same condition as found. Costs for any damages or losses exceeding the security deposit will be charged to the client.

The Mountain Mermaid, located in Topanga Canyon, is a 7,000-square-foot architectural gem surrounded by the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Just minutes from Los Angeles, this estate offers a tranquil escape with breathtaking mountain views, lush gardens, and a certified wildlife habitat filled with peacocks, hummingbirds, and more.

Inside, the estate features a grand Great Room with a soaring 16-foot ceiling, original hardwood floors, and a majestic staircase. The three unique bedrooms—The Siren Room, Mountain Room, and Tower Room—each have beautifully appointed ensuite bathrooms. Outside, multiple patios, balconies, and a classic swimming pool invite relaxation and reflection.

Steeped in history, the Mountain Mermaid has served as everything from a gambling house to a nightclub. Restored over 25 years by a passionate local artist, it now stands as a serene horticultural retreat, preserving the rich natural and historical heritage of Topanga Canyon.
