Guests under 21 are not allowed after 8:00 pm
Host rules
- All guests must be 21+ for entry. Children are allowed with an adult for dinner until 8pm.
- In order to support the celebratory environment of Ciel Social Club, we kindly request that all of our guests dress business casual or better (dress shorts are permitted). Please no hoodies, flip-flops/athletic sandals, athletic or cargo shorts, activewear, or sweats.
- No smoking.

Ciel Social Club, aptly named after the French word for “the heavens,” is a luxurious penthouse lounge and restaurant perched atop the AC Hotel Washington DC Convention Center. The venue boasts opulent décor and offers nearly 360-degree views of iconic landmarks, including the U.S. Capitol dome and the Washington Monument, providing a celestial backdrop for any event.
The interior exudes elegance with turquoise and gold accents, featuring a 12-foot brass chandelier and black-and-white tiled flooring, creating a magical atmosphere that transports guests above the city’s hustle. Ciel Social Club accommodates up to 135 guests in its indoor lounge area, with an additional 30 seats on the outdoor terrace, making it ideal for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. The venue also offers in-house catering and beverage services, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all attendees.
