Situated in Rockville, Maryland, Timberlawn Estate is a historic place that becomes a great filming venue, ready to serve as an elegant backdrop to any recording or photo project. Just five minutes from the Washington DC metro service, this property provides a peaceful getaway without having to travel too far from the city. Built in 1918 by National Geographic funding Treasurer John Joy Edson, this property has also been home to Special Olympics founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver.
