The Venue is Caterbury’s biggest nightclub, located centrally in the University of Kent campus.

Boasting a generous capacity of up to 1100 people, our dynamic nightclub is the ultimate party destination in Canterbury. With cutting-edge sound and lighting systems, it sets the stage for an unforgettable celebration, be it a birthday bash, an awards ceremony, a live music event, or a pulsating club night. The two-story nightclub can also be sectioned off to accommodate smaller-scale events.

The Venue is a multi-room, multi-purpose event space suitable for every occasion. This space can be hired for parties, gigs, award ceremonies, corporate events, exhibitions, conferences and much more.

Featuring two rooms, stages, state-of-the-art sound & lighting, multiple bars, a cloakroom, a photo booth and on-site parking, we can provide bespoke hire packages. Let our experienced team bring your event idea to life.

The Venue is extremely versatile and has hosted many different types of events. From award ceremonies to conferences, talent shows, assessment centers, corporate parties, vintage clothes markets, live sport viewing parties and even lazer tag, our space can shapeshift into anything you want it to be.

Boasting two fully licensed bars and an outdoor shots bar, as well as a built-in stage and dancefloor, no event is too big or too small for this space. Food and drink packages are available upon request to suit all catering needs.

FAQ

What is the cancellation and refund policy at The Venue?

Cancellations 60 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 60 days to 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations for events starting within 30 days are non-refundable.

Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 2 months from the original date, at no cost.
