The venue was stunning, really centrally located, and was perfect for the theme of the party (prom). Chairs and some tables were provided which was super helpful. Throughout the lead up, I was able to book time for visits and questions, and responses were always prompt! The staff on the day were very helpful, and the event went off without any issue! Overall amazing venue, especially for the location, and would highly recommend!
There is absolutely no option to store any tables or decor at the venue, which made getting tables rented and out the same night very challenging. The venue wasn't in contact at all prior to the event, despite saying I'd get an email with info/contact numbers 24 hours before. On the day, while the staff were super helpful, there were quite a few things he didn't know how to do, which caused a bit of stress.

Our group loved this venue - a safe, cosy and inviting space and certainly unexpected for this price range in the middle of London and walking distance from train station. Beautiful exterior garden with good privacy and security gate. Accessible venue (ramp and only one small step) in a central location. Excellent value for money and staff with clear friendly communication from staff.
As mentioned, the entrance was a bit hard to find as shown wrongly on Google Maps. A diagram published on the website would be beneficial to correct this.
Shoes were not allowed in the tent - some people have suggested shoe racks or cabinets could be provided, and also some mats outside for walking on in socks after shoe removal and a place to dispose of rubbish.

Sonia was an incredible liaison, so helpful, kind, so responsive and helped us ensure the space was set up with just what we needed. The space has such a beautiful ambiance and energy, it lent itself perfectly to our Breathwork event. It was really nice to utilize the lights that we could choose the color from which really added to the whole feeling. Very special place!

About St Ethelburga's Centre
The location is a stunning venue situated near Liverpool Street. It provides a fantastic combination of intimacy and grandeur with original 14th-century arches providing the backdrop to the main space. Destroyed by an IRA bomb in 1993, it has been rebuilt with modern features and offers a unique and memorable space for any event. It is equipped with fast WiFi and has an in-house projector and sound system available in the main space.
The Bedouin Tent is a circular space, ideal for meetings and away-days, intimate gatherings and workshops, while the Nave offers a spectacular space for larger events.
