Numma and the team were great, the place had a great vibe and I had the best birthday ever. Played my own 90/00s Spotify playlist upstairs and my friends dj’d downstairs, and had lovely drinks all night! Had a really fun time and my friends all enjoyed themselves too. No complaints. Thanks so much and for being so accommodating!!

The staff was very attentive and lovely. The booking process was really simple. Simon gave us a tour and was very friendly. Everything was perfect and I would definitely use the venue again.
I would say the downstairs needs some sort of ac system as it got very hot.

From the initial contact to the end of the event, the staff and all that’s in between were fantastic. I had so many requests and questions and they did not disappoint.
The venue itself is a gorgeously decorated, themed space, and was perfect for what I wanted. I also love alice in wonderland so that was a huge bonus.
The bar staff, management, security and cloakroom attendant were all so friendly and helpful. They made my guests comfortable and had the best night!
The DJ booth was well equipped, with the option to hire more equipment. The sound system was great, there were many lighting options including some fun lasers!
I wanted special themed cocktails for the night and they were happy to oblige, they made them perfectly and even created menus.
I couldn’t have had a better 30th, thank you Bonkers!
The stairs were a little rough for heel wearers but we managed.

About Bonkers Bar
Bonkers Bar is a new immersive cocktail bar and experience located in Dalston. Heavily influenced by a famous Roald Dahl novel and 1970's psychedelia, Bonkers Bar has created an absurd world of performance, cocktails and live music.
Organising a live music event? Christmas Party? Birthday? Bonkers Bar is available to hire for your private event. Since our opening in October 2021 we have hosted DJs, bands, live performance, cabaret, filming, burlesque, birthdays and much much more!
Our space is spread across two levels with dance floor, DJ booth, seating area and bar complete with full bespoke cocktail menu. We have a state of the art void air motion sound system, a 150 person capacity and are able to stay open till late. There is dimmable ambient lighting throughout, fully controllable uplighting, stage lighting and air conditioning throughout the space.
We have a fully functional kitchen and food prep area. This is an ideal space for all types of event. We pride ourselves on the versatility and uniqueness of Bonkers Bar.

Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 3 months from the original date, at no cost.
