About Follers Manor Garden
Bought by the current owners in 2006, the Grade II listed Follers Manor and its grounds underwent extensive renovation for several years before becoming a family home.
The award-winning garden, designed by Ian Kitson received international acclaim upon completion and was featured in multiple TV programmes, magazines and newspapers both in the UK and abroad, including Alan Titchmarsh’s ‘Britain’s Best Back Gardens’.
Situated inside the South Downs national park, the contemporary design includes an entrance courtyard, sunken garden, herbaceous displays, wildlife pond, wildflower meadows, woodland area and quite simply stunning views of the South Downs.
The two sunken gardens allow guests to be protected from the coastal winds but without losing that all important backdrop of the South Downs. The wildlife pond with water lilies is captivating and it’s hard to draw yourself away from.
The paddock (now popular for wedding marquees) provides unspoilt and breathtaking views across the Cuckmere valley into neighbouring Littlington village and certainly gives a sense of the scope and beauty of the downs.
Amenity wise, there is parking available for up to 100 cars in the lower paddock. Access via the main driveway is restricted so we do ask bookings to park in the paddock. We also have a unisex toilet available in one of the outbuildings in the main garden.

Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
Follers Manor Garden does not offer catering.
