About Horse and Groom
The theatre was demolished in 1598 and quarter of it still probably exists beneath the venue according to the architects. The Museum of Shakespeare will be opening behind us very soon with an immersive state of the art installation.
The Horse & Groom has grown to be one of East London's most loved pubs by day, we're a traditional East End tavern serving Classic & Craft Beers & Ales, cocktails and premium drinks alongside a great food kitchen opening very soon by night, we've played host to some of the best names in Dance music including Dimitri From Paris, Greg Wilson, Todd Terje, M.K and many more with the venues fantastic sound install and dance space.
The venue has has recently just undergone an extensive full refurbishment over both floors, brand new toilets, flooring, new kitchen, increasing capacity to 250 on the ground floor and 100 on the 1st floor and garden at the back Apart from being a fantastic pub and weekend party space, we can cater for Weddings, film and video shoots, media events, conferences engagements, seasonal parties and fashion parties

Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 3 months from the original date, at no cost.
