About this space
Welcome to Dean's! Stop by for a taste of historic Houston, paired with your choice of bourbon, Scotch, and beer. Our spacious bar is perfect for hosting events, offering a unique and inviting atmosphere.
The interior boasts comfortable, colorful sofas, patterned carpets, wooden walls, an incredibly high ceiling, and a huge bar, all designed to create an unforgettable experience. The space accommodates 175 standing guests and 50 seated guests.

About Dean's Downtown
Welcome to the historic Dean’s Downtown! Originally known as “The Kiam,” Dean’s was built in 1893 and stood as the tallest building in Houston at an impressive five stories. This landmark was the first in the city to utilize steel frame construction and, in 1901, became the third building in America (and the first in Texas) to feature an electric elevator.
