Booking an event was smooth. Dean, the organiser I was talking to was mostly on top of things. Any information I required was provided in brochures or messages and were very clear. Communication was easy as well with their own online messaging venue. There plenty of options offered which helped in making the right choices for my specific event. The event itself was handled by the selected restaurant very well. Corrdination at the start of the venue was clear and staff were good during the service. Overall a successful event in a cozy venue as I had hoped for.

Top Tips for Planning a Birthday Party in Sydney
Throwing a birthday party should be fun, not stressful. Here’s how to keep it simple and make sure your big day goes off without a hitch:
- Create a guest list – Know your numbers early, whether it’s 15 or 150 guests, so you can plan your budget and venue size.
- Set a budget – Decide how much you want to spend upfront. It’ll make picking the right venue much easier (and help avoid nasty surprises later).
- Start your venue search early – Popular spots book up fast. Focus on venues within your price range and choose based on the vibe you want, whether it’s a private room, rooftop bar, or outdoor garden.
- Have a backup plan for outdoor events – Sydney’s weather is usually great, but it’s smart to ask venues about tents, heaters, or indoor options just in case.
- Sort your food and drinks – Check if the venue offers catering or if BYO is allowed. Many venues offer birthday packages, starting from just $20 per person.
- Use the space smartly – Think about the room layout. For dinners, one big table keeps things cosy. For a dance party, leave plenty of open space around the DJ booth.

Verified Reviews of Birthday Party Venues in Sydney
I hosted my birthday party at Penny’s and while I didn’t end up using the lounge bar because the amount of my guest, they let me use part of their main bar area and the whole party was lovely! Tayla and Faith were so helpful in assisting me to plan my party and answering any questions I had, and Ella and the rest of the staff on the night of my party were very friendly and helpful with everything I had asked for. The food was great — their canapés selection was chefs kiss, all of my friends enjoyed them and I had an amazing time hosting my party in here. 😊 Once again, thank you so much!
I booked Level Two of Keg & Brew Hotel with my friend to celebrate our 33rd birthdays. We had an amazing night, it was exactly what we were hoping for! All our guests loved the venue and the party. Poppy was very helpful from the beginning and accommodating with all our requests. The team was also super flexible with the setup and packdown of our DJ equipment and decorations, which was a huge help. The venue was perfect for both dinner and the party. We first had dinner for 27 people, and the food was served quickly and without any mistakes. Everyone really enjoyed the food. After dinner, we started the party with about 60 guests, and it was such a great night! The space is perfect for a DJ party. We brought our own decks, lights, and monitor, and used the venue’s sound system (it worked really well, the sound system is great!) The only downside is that Level Two is licensed only until midnight!! We would have loved to keep going longer!
I held my birthday party in this lovely space! There were plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs for use, and the tables came prepared with white tablecloths. The venue looks larger in real life feels very light and airy which was wonderful. Andrew was a great communicator and quickly answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this space!!
I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at the most wonderful venue, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The space was even bigger than it looked in the pictures—plenty of room for everyone to relax, mingle, and dance. We played music straight from an iPad, which worked perfectly and kept the atmosphere just right all day. The kitchen and toilet facilities were super convenient and clean, making everything run smoothly. A special mention to Andrew, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. It truly was the perfect setting for a memorable evening! Highly recommend
The venue was perfect for what I was looking for and it was also very affordable. Erin (the lady helping me organise this event) was honestly amazing to work with. She always emailed me back within the day of emailing her and answered every single thing I asked her. She made this whole experience so easy and effortless. The venue itself was very nice. It was a very hot day but the aircon was perfect. The staff were all very helpful with anything I needed on the day of the event and they were very accomodating for all my requests. The male bathroom was accessible to the public via the event space but this wasn't an issue at all as my event was during the day on a Saturday so it wasn't very busy, meaning not many people from the public accessed the bathroom during my event. I was able to use a USB to put up a slide show on the TV and have some balloons and a cake set up for everyone to get photos infront of. The food was very delicious. All round the venue and the staff were awesome and i would definitely recommend this space for anyone considering.
Staff were super helpful from start to finish. We held our daughters 21st Birthday celebrations with some family and friends. Everyone had an awesome time and the food was delicious. Having a private room with pool tables made for a fun night and the friendly barman, Jason (Bar Manager) and Erin (Venue Manager) and all the staff made everything run smoothly.
The space was lovely, felt very homey and private. Lots of flexibility with music, great system, and the bar upstairs makes it very comfortable. The staff were extra accomodating for us which is usually rare, and they were very friendly too. Almost everyone of my guests complimented the space. Food from catering was was also high quality. So happy I decided to book Bondi liquor and Co, instead of having the event at home. Same personal vibe but zero hosting hustle. Will book again.
