About this space
OPS Wines is an independently owned wine & tapas bar, located in trendy Bermondsey in South East London.
Located in a railway arch along the well-known Bermondsey Beer Mile, the venue is just a few minutes’ walk from Tower Bridge, and easily accessible via Bermondsey or London Bridge stations, as well as many bus routes.
Renting the whole space gives private access to both indoor areas:
The ground floor
The ground floor of OPS Wines is a stylish, spacious environment fit for multiple purposes. Finished with exposed Victorian brickwork and boasting a ceiling of 30 feet, the space is light, bright and inviting: the floor-to-ceiling glass frontage introduces an abundance of natural light.
Enter further in - towards the venue’s main bar, custom built and finished with a white granite top - and the space is cosy and inviting, with a comfy sofa area and small tables next to racks of fine wine.
The sky is the limit on how you can use the space: whether it’s a drinks reception with a finger buffet, a seated main meal, or clearing out the tables to create an incredibly atmospheric dance floor with ample space for a DJ
The Mezzanine
The Mezzanine - the upper floor of the wine bar - is a warm and airy space neutrally decorated with warm colours. This attractive space boasts a beautiful handmade upcycled wooden floors, and lovely airy views of the space below, out of our all-glass frontage.
The space is large and highly versatile, easily adapted to the needs of your event. With space for up to 75 guests seated, it's perfect for drinks receptions and allowing your guests to socialise, as well as sit down meals or a buffet style service.

The most wonderful host in the most wonderful venue. The space was absolutely stunning, my guests couldn’t be more complimentary. The catering was absolutely incredible, not a bad word to say about this venue. Thank you for everything Pedro. Can’t wait to see you again !

Born out of a desire to see the best Portuguese wines on the shelves of London, OPS Wines started as an importer and wholesaler. Nowadays, the signature wine bar stocks and serves the best of Portugal's wines and foods in a wonderfully unique venue.
Located in a railway arch along the well-known Bermondsey Beer Mile, the venue is just a few minutes’ walk from Tower Bridge, and easily accessible via Bermondsey or London Bridge stations, as well as many bus routes.
Situated over two floors and with its own private outside garden space, the venue is flexible to suit the needs of every individual booking. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated for, and the space is highly configurable. The layout can be easily adapted to create the right atmosphere for groups of all sizes, and all the different stages of your event, whether that's cocktail hour, buffets meals, seated meals or partying the night away!
Intimate yet stylish, the interior is vintage meets industrial: think exposed brickwork, an ultramodern glass and steel mezzanine, handmade upcycled wooden flooring, and a custom built granite-topped bar. A great sound system rounds off the perfect offering for private events, though there is ample space for a DJ if you wish.
OPS Wines offers a menu of wines imported directly from Portugal, as well as cocktails and Portuguese beers. The unique food menu offers sharing platters and small plates - many of the dishes are made from ingredients sourced from other local small businesses. Outside catering is also allowed, to give maximum flexibility to your event.
